Wallace (Wally) O. Warmack passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025. He was 93. He was born in Mission, TX where his parents & an uncle owned a grapefruit grove. His father worked as a civil servant during WWII so that had to move to Asbury Park, NJ. After the war, they moved to Texarkana, TX where he met Betty.

After he graduated from The University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Electrical Engineering, he and Betty got married then moved to Ft. Worth. His first job was with Convair (Lockheed Martin). Then when he took a job with LTV, the family moved to Grand Prairie in March 1963. In 1975, he took a job with CPC in Grand Prairie where he worked until retirement.

After he retired, he and Betty traveled extensively especially to see Nicole who lived with them in 1971-1972 as a French foreign exchange student. They also did their best to see as much of the US as possible as they visited friends and family. When they weren’t traveling, they fished at their home on Cedar Creek.
Wally’s other passion was volunteering. He volunteered with The Friends of Grand Prairie Library, the Food & Clothing Co-op, and the Grand Prairie Tourist Center. Visiting with all the people was one of the things he enjoyed the most.

He is proceeded in death by his wife, Betty, and his parents, Minor and Cleo Warmack plus many aunts, uncle and cousins. Wally is survived by daughters Pat Evans of Grand Prairie and Nicole Perroud of Lyon, France.
