Shirley Reed Wilkins

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of our beloved members, Shirley Reed Wilkins.

Shirley graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1954 and married the love of her life, Billy Wilkins, in 1955. Together they built a beautiful life and shared nearly 52 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, family, and adventure. They enjoyed traveling to exotic and faraway places, but Shirley’s heart always belonged to Texas, and she was happiest calling Grand Prairie home.

Shirley passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, surrounded by her loving children. She was preceded in Heaven by her father, mother, and her beloved husband, Billy Wilkins.

Shirley will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
