Peggy Poage

February 1, 1937-October 24, 2023

Peggy Ann Poage passed away on October 24, 2023. She was a Life Member of the Grand
Prairie Historical Organization serving as Hospitality Chair. She had recently moved to South Carolina to be near her son and daughter in-law.

Peggy was a long time resident of Grand Prairie and graduated from GPHS in 1956. She worked at the Uptown Theater, LTV and retired from Dallas Baptist University. Peggy was a member of the Grand Prairie Women’s Club, the Rejebian Book Club and First Baptist Church where she was a volunteer.

Peggy is survived by her son, Jim (Rhonda), three granddaughters; nine great grand children; brother Bill Sluder of Grand Prairie. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Poage; four sisters and one brother.
